NEALE EDWARDS -
PROJECT MANAGEMENT / DESIGN CONSULTANT

Neale was born on the Welsh side of the border in Wrexham and after a varied beginning in his career, decided to risk all by setting up with his own computer design office in his home in Wrexham and giving up a more 'traditional' approach.

He has a keen interest in cars and, to be perfectly honest, anything mechanic - or chocolate! - based. Neale also used to race and time trial with the local cycling club (Wrexham RC Fibrax) and was treasurer for some years. Though cycling is a rare thing these days, he still holds a keen interest in the sport, and in restoring his own vintage bicycles. He can play the Saxophone (reasonably in tune) and has a collection of vintage horns which he enjoys to play and annoy the neighbours and the dog!

Neale is proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Tekla and Revit, with a high-spec portable mobile workstation and home Desktop PC, along with other design equipment to give him flexibility to work anywhere needed.

He graduated from Plas Coch Technical College and has a multiple qualifications: BTEC OND Mechanical and Production Engineering Level 1 & 2, BTEC ONC Mechanical and Production Engineering Level 3, BTEC HNC A5 Mechanical and Production Engineering. Also, he was a part of the Institution of Engineering Designers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Originally starting off in doing design and detail work in Brymbo Steelworks Drawing Office, he has gone on to gain a wide range of experiences and knowledge in a wide range of industries and fields including Automotive, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process and Electrical.

However, since 1994, Neale has been freelance to make the most of his home set-up. He’s managed to build his own knowledge and flexibility, while expanding his software base from 2D to 3D, both as a design tool and also to communicate concepts and designs to engineers, directors and staff alike.

Though Neale is often based at home, he’s not afraid to travel, having worked as far as Penrith to London, and even in Germany and Cuba. Since being freelance, he’s worked with a huge range of customers: ADL Electrical Ltd., English Provinder Ltd., Anglesey Aluminium Ltd., Calipso Soft Drinks, Classic Couverture Ltd., DRB Machining Ltd., Electromec Ltd. in which he designed for Kellogs Ltd., Herrco Cosmetics Ltd., JB Fabrication (wxm) Ltd. aiding Welsh Water with design and detail, Remploy Ltd., PFS Ltd., Tracoinsa System UK Ltd. and Vauxhall Motors, and Villiage Bakery.

Neale met Frank when they were working together on the Remploy project and since then, Neale has been an intrinsic Associate to McA. Alongside his design skills, Neale has knowledge in multiple areas and is suited to any project management tasks sent his way.

ELEANOR MCADAM - OFFICE MANAGER

Eleanor is McA's office manager with a background in administration and hospitality with a passion for books, coffee and motorbikes.

As Frank's youngest daughter, Eleanor has grown up around motorbikes and all things mechanical, trying to 'trike' her first motorbike at age fourteen. Studying a Creative Writing BA and MA, she's a lover of science fiction books which mix her love of the mechanical and robotics into a fictional setting. Having worked as a barista during university, she's become a lover of coffee and has built up a sizeable collection of coffee makers in her home in Manchester.

Though she never became an engineer (much to Frank's disappointment!), she's been helping out with McA administration since a young age and after graduate roles in administration for HSS, she became an administrator for McA. Being promoted to Office Manager, she now not just aids McA with administrative duties but helps on projects to aid the financial and administrative duties of the client.

Though Eleanor will not be a project manager on site, she will assist our Associates with additional duties on projects.
